1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. boiling water
1 stick oleo
2 beaten eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and oleo. Cool. Add eggs, sugars and dry ingredients. Put in greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Frosting: 1 stick oleo, 1 egg yolk (not the white) beaten. 1 c. brown sugar. Boil 1 minute then add 1/2 c. nuts, 1 T. milk, and 1 c. coconut.
