12 slices day old bread, cut in 1 inch cubes
2 8oz packages cream cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 cup fresh blueberries
12 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
⅓ c maple syrup

Blueberry syrup ingredients:
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup water
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. Arrange half of bread cubes on bottom. Top with cream cheese cubes. Sprinkle 1 cup blueberries on top followed by remaining bread cubes.

In a large bowl mix the eggs, milk, vanilla and syrup. Pour over the bread cubes. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove dish from refrigerator apx 30 min before baking. Preheat over in 350º

Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake 30 min. Uncover and continue baking 25-30 min until center is firm and surface is lightly browned.

In medium saucepan, mix the sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and cook for 3-4 min. Mix in remaining 1 c blueberries. Reduce heat and simmer 10 min until blueberries burst. Stir in the butter and pour over the baked french toast.
