3 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
6 - 7 c. flour

Frosting:
3½ c. confectioners sugar
½ c. butter
1 tbsp. Crisco
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 - 4 tbsp. milk
coconut, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream sugar, margarine and butter together. Add eggs until light and fluffy. Add baking soda, baking powder and salt. Combine buttermilk with mixture; add flour. Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly brown. Cool. Mix frosting ingredients together for cookies. Sprinkle coconut on top of each cookie.
