1. 4 cups sugar
2 .1 can evaporated milk
3. 1 T white corn syrup
4. Dash of salt
5. 1 tsp vanilla
6. 1 15 ounce jar of peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Butter the sides of heavy saucepan
In saucepan add sugar, salt, corn syrup, and evaporated milk
Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil
Turn the stove down to a soft boil (use wooden spoons, no metal spoons)
Boil to 220 on candy thermometer
Remove from heat
Add vanilla, and peanut butter
Let cool until the bottom of the pan is just warm to touch
Stir until combined
Pour into buttered 9x9 baking dish
