1 pound ground turkey--I have used wild goose
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and thoroughly mix. Mixture may be made and refrigerated up to 36 hours for flavors to absorb into meat. Shape into patties, links or crumble into skillet & brown over medium heat. Can be shaped and frozen immediately after being mixed together and thawed in refrigerator when ready to use.
