1 ½ c. chopped pecans
1 ½ c. butter softened
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
dash of salt
1 ½ t. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle ½ c. pecans in a greased and floured 10" tube pan. Set aside.

Cream butter and cream cheese and gradually add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour and salt. Stir in vanilla and remaining 1 c. pecans. Pour batter in pan.

Bake at 325º oven for 1 ½ hrs
Cool for 10 minutes and then remove to rack and cool.
