1 quart fully ripe strawberries
4 cups sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 0.75oz pkg powdered fruit pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Wash containers in hot sudsy water, rinse with boiling water, and invert to dry

Crush enough strawberries to make 2 cups fruit. Stir in sugar and orange juice. Let stand for 10 min.

In 1 qt saucepan, heat pectin and ¾ cup water to boiling. Boil for 1 min stirring constantly.

Stir pectin mixture into fruit. Stir for 3 min (no less). A few sugar crystals will remain. Ladle mix into containers to ½ inch from top. Cover with lids.

Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours or until set. Freeze or use within 3 weeks. Refrigerate after opening.
