1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped fine
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can sweet peas, drained
2 cups cheese
1/2 can evaporated milk
4 medium sized white potatoes
4 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil white potatoes until fork tender. Drain and peel potatoes. In a medium bowl, add white potatoes, 2 Tbsp butter and evaporated milk. Beat well with a mixer. If potatoes are not creamy enough, add more milk. Set aside. Brown and drain beef. Add onion and soup to beef and layer in the bottom of casserole dish. Layer 1 cup cheese. Layer peas and then white potatoes. Layer last cup of cheese. Dot with remaining butter. Place in 350º oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbling on top.
