1/4 c, cocoa
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. oleo
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 6 ingredients together and cook over low heat until thick. Slightly beat egg yolks, then add a little bit of the hot chocolate mixture to temper the eggs. Then, pour the eggs into the pan and cook about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, then add vanilla and oleo. Pour into a baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream or meringue.

If you use meringue, beat the egg whites, and add 2 tsp. vanilla per egg white. Put back in over to lightly brown the top.
