1/4 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425º

Grease a cookie sheet.

Heat margarine until melted; set aside.

Stir flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl.

Stir in milk and butter to form dough.

Sprinkle a surface with flour; turn dough onto surface. Knead 10 times.

Roll tough with rolling pin into a 9" x 5" rectangle.

Brush with remaining melted butter.

Sprinkle with combined mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough up tightly, beginning at narrow end. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal. Cut ointo 4 equal pieces. Place cut sides up on cookie sheet; pat each into a 6" circle. Sprinkle with more sugar.

Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cooki8e sheet with spatula. Let cool on wire rack. (Makes 4 elephant ears.)
