3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 can pumpkin
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Directions:
- Mix sugar eggs and oil together. Add remaining ingredients.
- Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Reduce heat to 275º and bake for 35 minutes, or longer if needed.

I usually add about an extra 1/2 tsp. or so of nutmeg and cinnamon. When you turn down the temperature, I wouldn’t go any lower than 300 degrees. Cooking time varies. Just keep testing with a toothpick. I put a powder sugar glaze on it.
