2 onions, chopped
1 bunch celery, used leaves, chopped
1½ C butter
2 C flour
½ tsp thyme
3 capfuls of Tabasco sauce
salt
pepper
8 cans chopped clams
2 pt half and half
2 pt cream
12 potatoes, peeled and chopped
milk



Directions:
Directions:
In a large roaster, spray with vegetable oil and saute onions, celery and butter. Add flour, thyme, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Add clams, juice and all. mix into flour mixture. Add half and half and cream. Add potatoes and finish filling roaster with milk. Cook over low heat at least 4 hours. Stir often as soup scorches easily. Should should be creamy when done.
