3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. brown sugar
5 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. Active Dry Yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2- 2 1/2 c. flour
1-1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

- In small saucepan, heat milk, brown sugar, 4 Tbsp. butter, and salt to 110-115 degrees.
- In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in the milk mixture. Add 1 - 1 1/2 c. flour, wheat flour, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Punch dough down. Divide into 20 pieces, shape into balls. Place on greased baking pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled.
- Melt remaining butter, brush over dough. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
