1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 lb ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
oregano and basil to taste
2-3 bay leaves
garlic salt to taste
water (just enough to cover the cooked meat)
2 small cans tomato paste
2 cans tomato sauce
2 cans diced, stewed tomatoes

optional: Samsclub carry's a brand of Italian seasoning called Zones Italian Seasoning Blend that is very good! It has oregano, marjoram, thyme, basil, rosemary and sage mixed all together for Italian dishes. Highly recommend!

- add ground beef, bell pepper, and onions to a large frying pan
- cook till beef is done and crumbly and vegetables are tender, drain the grease
- add spices and enough water to cover the meat
- pour in remaining ingredients and stir
- reduce heat and simmer sauce on low for 2 hours
- serve over cooked spaghetti noodles
