1 (12 ounce) bag Raspberries (frozen), divided*
½ cup Water
1 cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
Dash of Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
1 Prepared Pie Shell
Fresh Whipped Cream

* Can substitute strawberries. If using strawberries, then omit the butter.

Directions:
Directions:
Mash 1 cup of berries and reserve the rest.
Combine water, sugar, cornstarch, mashed berries, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil over medium high heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon butter.
Add the balance of the berries.
Pour mixture into a prepared pie shell. Chill.
Serve with whipped cream.
