Blueberry french toast Recipe

12 slices day old bread, cubed
16 oz cream cheese
1 cup blueberries
12 eggs
½ t cinnamon
2 cups milk
⅓ cup syrup or honey
1 cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 cup water
1 cup blueberries
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place half of bread cubes in greased 9 x13 baking dish. Cut cream cheese in cubes and place over bread. Top with blueberries and remaining bread. In large bowl beat eggs and cinnamon. Beat in milk and syrup, mixing well. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake covered at 350º for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and center is set. Combine remaining ingredients except blueberries and butter in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in blueberries and reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until berries have burst. Stir in butter until melted. Serve with French toast.
