1 recipe Grandma Peg's Pie Crust
5-6 medium-large Honeycrisp Apples, peeled and sliced (enough to double the dish depth at the crown)
⅔ cup Sugar
1½ teaspoons Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Cranberry Juice
1½ tablespoons Butter

Note: Use 7/8 cup of sugar if using Granny Smith apples

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples with juice and spices and heap into a pie dish lined with crust. Dot top with butter.
Add pie crust top and crimp edges.
Bake at 425º for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350º and bake for an addition 30 minutes (or until apples are bubbly and crust is lightly browned).
