½-lb. Ground Beef
½-lb. Ground Pork
*May use all beef if you prefer.
4-Slices of bread with crust removed
½-c. Milk
1-T. Salt
½-tsp. Nutmeg
½-tsp. Onion Powder
¼-c. Bread crumbs
Pinch of pepper
Flour to coat meat balls and 3 T. for the gravy
2-T. Veg oil
¼-Water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the meat in a large bowl. Remove the crusts from the bread and place over the meat in bowl, pour milk over the bread. Add all other ingredients with the exception of the flour, oil and water, into the bowl and mix together. Shape into 4 to 6 balls, roll through flour and fry lightly on all sides to brown meat balls only. Add water, cover and simmer for 10 Minutes. Remove meat balls
