Directions:
Thaw dough until soft and risen. Lightly sauté onion and garlic in margarine for about 5 minutes. Add diced ham and continue to sauté. Stir in mushrooms, cook about 5 minutes longer. Combine egg, herbs and seasoning in medium bowl. Add onion/ mushroom and meat mixture. Stir in browned sausage. Combine. Roll out 1 loaf of dough to a 16” x 12” rectangle. Place on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon half of the meat mixture onto the center of the dough. Fold right third of dough over the filling. Overlap left third of dough over right third. Pinch to seal seam. Cut slits about 4” long at 1” intervals across top of loaf. Cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Allow to rise 45 min to an hour. Brush with egg wash. Bake at 325° for 35-40 minutes or until nicely browned and middle of loaf is done. Repeat with second loaf. Serve warm.
