Flour - 2 cups
Granulated Sugar - 1 cup
Salt - ½ tsp
Baking Powder (BP) - ½ tsp
Baking Soda(BS) - 1 tsp
Eggs - 2
Shortening (butter) - 1 cup
Rolled Oats - 2 cups
Brown Sugar - 1 cup
Vanilla - 1 tsp
Chocolate Chips - 1 pkg

Pre-heat Oven 350º

Sift flour, BP, BS, salt.

Using mixer blend shortening and sugars. Add Eggs - beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture - mix well.
Remove from mixer - use a spoon to add rolled oats, vanilla, and Chocolate Chips
Dough is crumbly.

Create cookie balls - drop by teaspoonfuls on greased sheet.


Bake for 15 minutes. Repeat until all dough is cooked.

Cool on a cookie rack.
