2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup Karo
Add 2 tsp of flavoring and/or food color

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, water, and Karo syrup to 300 (Hard Crack)

Put in buttered pan when cool. Can cut pieces to twist and roll in powdered sugar.

Mom just poured into small pan and then cracked it when it hardened into pieces.

Mom didn't add flavoring, but she did make red and green batches. We had this every Christmas. Careful of sharp edges!
