1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
3 cups apple sauce
2 cups raisins
2 cups pecans
4 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp allspice
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 pound candied cherries
1/4 pound candied pineapple, cut up small

Directions:
Directions:
Put one cup of the flour over the raisins, pineapple and cherries. Add soda to the other two cups of flour and put over nuts. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time, then applesauce, spices and vanilla. Add raisin/pineapple combination, and lastly the nuts. Pour into tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Run spatula through batter to eliminate bubbles. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour and 45 minutes up to 2 hours. cool in pan overnight.
