1 lb. real butter
3 cups sugar
8 eggs, separated
3 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 jiggers bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add four along with flavoring and liquor. Beat egg whites until they are very stiff and fold into butter batter. Grease entire tube pan. Line bottom only with waxed paper. Sprinkle bottom and top with crushed pecans. Bake in preheated 350º oven for 1 1/2 hours plus 15 minutes.
