2 quarts chopped cabbage
1 quart onions
6 green peppers
2 quarts green tomatoes
1 jar pimento or 2 red peppers


1 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 teaspoon ginger
1 1/2 tablespoon celery seeds
1 quart vinegar
2 1/4 cups sugar



Plus:
1/4 cup salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Chop cabbage, onions, tomatoes and peppers.

2. Mix all vegetables with 1/2 cup salt. Let stand overnight.

3. Drain vegetables.

4. Add sugar and spices to vinegar and simmer for 20 minutes.

5. Add vegetables. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes.

6. Place into jars. Process in water bath for ten minutes
