1 gallon chopped cabbage
12 onions
12 green peppers
2 quarts green tomatoes


4 tablespoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon tumeric
1 tablespoon ginger
4 tablespoon celery seeds
2 tablespoon pickling spice
2 to 3 quarts vinegar
5 cups sugar


Plus:
1/2 cup salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Chop cabbage, onions, tomatoes and peppers.

2. Mix all vegetables with 1/2 cup salt. Let stand overnight.

3. Drain vegetables.

4. Add sugar and spices to vinegar and simmer for 20 minutes.

5. Add vegetables. Simmer until hot and well seasoned.

6. Place into jars. Process in water bath for ten minutes.
