Ingredients: 1 Head of Cauliflower Pimento stuffed olives Red onion Fresh dill
1 Salad Dressing (I'm sure the original was handmade but I use Paul Newman's Olive Oil or Light Italian)

Directions:Separate Cauliflower into florettes and then slice as thinly as you possibly can. I have found that using a Cuisinart breaks up the cauliflower too much. Gets better as everything sits in the salad dressing. |

Notes: As you can see, this is not really a recipe. I remember clearly that the first time I ever had it was once when we went to dinner at Aunt Kitty and Uncle Warren Ayre's house. That was unusual because it was a school night and also because there weren't many people who were willing to take us all on for dinner. I don't remember Da being there but she may have been. Aunt Rach I think was living there with them. I remember distinctly sitting at the kitchen table watching them slice the cauliflower. I loved it so much that Mom would make it for me occasionally as a treat. I think of it as a German recipe because that was our German side of the family but I don't know that. I still make it often because I love fresh dill and olives.
