6 C crumbles cornbread
1 T poultry seasoning
1 C finely chopped celery
turkey or chicken broth
1 lb sausage
½ stick of melted butter
1 C finely chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put sausage in a skillet, crumble with a fork and brown. Remove sausage from skillet. Add celery and onion to sausage drippings, saute until vegetable are tender, but not brown.

2. In a large bowl, evenly mix together cornbread, sausage, poultry seasoning and vegetable mixture. Add melted butter and broth to cornbread mixture until it is moist, but not runny, Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes, until top is golden brown.

This is another recipe that has always been part of Thanksgiving. I have no idea where Mom got the recipe. She made several dressings each Thanksgiving, but this one was constant through the years. My sisters still make this dressing.
