1 egg
2 or more cups white flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups sour milk
corn meal to mix.

Directions:
Directions:
Have the egg well beaten.
Mix the flour, salt baking soda and sour milk.
Than stir in enough sifted corn meal to make a batter.
Pout into well greased pans and bake in a hot oven (400 F.) until golden brown. About 25-35 minutes, or golden brown.
More eggs can be used and are an improvement.
If the milk is very sour, more baking soda should be used or if it is fresh and sweet, than less baking soda is needed.
