Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Egg Yolks
5 Tablespoons Milk
1 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Powder Sugar
Chopped Nuts

Custard Filling

1-1/4 Cup Milk
3 Tablespoons Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg well beaten
Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Spread batter in 2 cake tins. Beat egg whites stiff and add 1 cup powder sugar and spread on dough. Sprinkle with chopped n uts.

Bate 20 to 25 minutes at 300 degrees.

Put custard filling between layers. For custard filling: Heat milk. Mix dry ingredients with beaten egg and add to hot milk. Cook slowly until thick.
