6 c. flour
1 T. salt
2 T. baking powder
1/2 c. instant non fat dry milk
2 2/4 c.lukewarm water
Lard or oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and dry milk in lg.bowl.
Add enough luke warm water to make soft dough.
Knead well.
Pinch off a ball of dough about the size of an egg.
Shape it round and flat with a small hole in the middle.
Work it back and forth from hand to hand to make it thinner and thinner.
Pull gradually to a diameter of about 9 inches.
Heat fat at least an inch deep and fry to a light brown on one side. turn and brown other side.
As it frys , the bread puffs up and becomes light.
Drain on paper towel.
Serve hot with butter, jam, honey, powdered sugar, cinn. & sugar, etc.
