Approx. 1 cup masoor dal
2 cloves garlic
2 green chiles
2 tomatoes
salt to taste
tsp turmeric

Tarka:
onion
2 cloves garlic

Cilantro
Plain yogurt

Directions:
Directions:
Add dal to pot. Cover with water. Add salt, turmeric, garlic, chilis and tomato. Boil until dal is soft. Add water as needed.
Remove white foam.

In separate pan, heat oil. Add onion and garlic.
Mix with dal.

Top with cilantro and yogurt.
