1 16-20 pound turkey
2 packages of Pepperidge Farm Classic Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
1 large pan of cornbread
1 stick of butter melted in a sauce pan of water
Eggs-usually about 8
Chopped white onion, about 1½ onions
Chopped celery, 1 whole rib
Rubbed sage, to taste
Salt and pepper to taste, you don' t need much due to the turkey and stuffing mix

Mix stuffing mix and crumbled cornbread in a large bowl. Add the butter and water, then the eggs. Mix together and add the onion and celery. Add sage, tasting as you go. Add salt and pepper if needed.
Stuff the inside of the turkey with the stuffing-be sure to remove the giblets and neck and clean the inside of the cavity well with cold water. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and put the extra stuffing along the sides of the turkey in the pan. Rub the skin of the turkey with butter, salt and pepper the skin. Refrigerate overnight. Bake the turkey in a 325º oven, usually about ½ hour per pound or according to the turkey package directions. Cook until timer pops up. Use a Honeysuckle White brand turkey.

This is another one of those recipes that isn't written down, Dad learned from Grandma. You all have watched this tradition enough times I'm sure you can do it!! Be mindful of the weight of the turkey and cooking time-you have to put it in early to be ready by early afternoon!
