1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup nuts, finely chopped
1 cup well-mashed bananas
2 cups flour
12 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter; add sugar gradually; cream well.
2. Stir in beaten eggs
3. Add sifted dry ingredients
4. Mix in mashed bananas and nuts
5. Turn into well greased loaf pan

Bake at 350º for 40-55 minutes.

Excellent for tea sandwiches. Bake two days before using. Slice. Use cream cheese or condensed milk for filling.
