5-6 apples (honeycrisp, granysmith, haralson, or other desired apples)
¾ c. sugar
2 Tbs. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbs. butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Roll out two pie crusts into 10 inch diameter (see Pie Pastry Recipe)
2. Place one crust into 9 inch pie pan, leaving crust hanging over edges.
3. Peel, core, and slice apples - I use an apple peeler. Cut apple into bite sized pieces.
4. Place 5 apples, worth into pie crust. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. Top with remaining apple. Dot with butter.
5. Cut vent holes in remaining pie crust.
6. Dampen edges of bottom crust with cool water.
7. Place top crust over pie and seal edges.

Bake 350º for 60-70 minutes.

Notes -
Typically I make several pies at one time and freeze in gallon zip lock bag. Take out of freezer, day before baking. Bake 350º for 60-70 minutes.
