4 large cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
salt
¾ cup cream
1 heaping tablespoon of sugar
1 heaping tablespoon Miracle Whip
¼ cup vinegar
pepper to taste


Directions:
Directions:
Put ⅓ of sliced cucumbers in a bowl and salt generously. Repeat in thirds until all are in the bowl. Place a plate on top and weigh it down. Let stand 2 to 4 hours, draining occasionally.
Mix dressing ingredients in a jar, cover and shake to dissolve Miracle Whip. If too sour, add sugar; if too sweet, add vinegar. Add to prepared cucumbers and mix thoroughly. Chill before serving.
