For a 3 lb bird:

1 large onion chopped fine
3 tbsp butter
chopped celery with leaves
cup chopped parsley
1 cups small crumb Pepperidge Farms stuffing
1 tsp salt
tsp paprika
tsp pepper
tsp sage
1 tsp thyme
of a quarter lb. stick of butter (her words as written)*

Let cook slowly chopped onion in 3 tbsp butter in large frying pan until yellow

Add celery, parsley and package stuffing and mix well.

Add spices and butter
