3 pkg dressing mix (1 cornbread and 2 seasoned)
2-3 cans chicken broth or broth from cooking turkey giblets
1 large onion, chopped
Celery, chopped (3-6 stalks)
3-4 sticks margarine or butter
2-3 eggs, beaten
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion & celery in chicken broth until soft. Add butter. Add a little of this hot mixture to the eggs and blend well. In a large bowl, put the stuffing mix, onion, celery, butter and eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Add hot chicken broth until mixture is well moistened. Bake at 400º until hot and a little brown on top.

You can make oyster dressing using this same recipe. Just add 1 pint of fresh oysters, drained and but in halves.
