3 c Sugar
1 c Water
1 t Vanilla
1/2 t salt
1 c Light corn syrup
3 c Unroasted raw peanuts
1 t Soda
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in heavy sauce pan and stir well. Bring to a boil. Cook to 232º, cover one minute to dissolve sugar crystals. Remove cover and add unroasted, raw, peanuts. When candy begins boiling, stir slowly with a wooden spoon (avoid hitting the sides of the pan). Cook sugar and peanuts to 305º, then add butter. Remove from heat and immediately add soda, salt, and vanilla. Stir. Pour on a buttered cookie sheat, spread quickly with back of spoon. When brittle has cooled and set up, break into pieces.
