1 1/2 c butter, softened
3 c sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
5 c flour
2 t baking powder
1 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Once mixed well, add baking powder, salt, and flour. Place dough in plastic wrap and chill at least one hour. Roll dough out to 1/4 -1/2 inc. Cut out shapes. If you want shapes to keep their form better, Place the shapes in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes.

Bake at 400º for 6-8 minutes. These are soft cookies.
