Ingredients:  
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
4 eggs
8 cups flour
1 ounce compressed yeast
1 pint lukewarm milk

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble yeast into bowl. Add lukewarm milk and 1 cup flour. Set aside to raise in warm place. Cream softened butter add sugar, salt, and eggs. Stir until well blended. Add rest of flour and yeast mixture. Blend thoroughly. Add only enough flour to knead. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Set aside in warm place until double in bulk. Form in 5 rolls using nut filling and allow to rise again. Bake rolls about 35 minutes at 375º or until brown.

1 lb ground walnuts
1/4 cup milk
2 T melted butter
1 cup sugar

These jelly-roll style nut rolls are really great. Another of my favorites. Mom made these all the time.
