2 L small beets - skinned and put in jars
1 L vinegar
375 ml water
250 ml sugar
10 ml salt
5 ml whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick 8 cm

Directions:
Directions:
Put cloves and cinnamon in a small cloth bag. Put in pot with all ingredients except beets. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Take bag out and pour hot liquid over beets and seal.
