1/2 cup softened Butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 t. baking sode
1 t. salt
2 1/2 cup flour
1 package chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla - continue to mix.

Add Flour, baking soda and salt to mixture and blend.

Add chocolate chips and nuts.

Roll in 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet.

Bake 375º for 10-13 minutes, depending on your oven temp.
or until they being to highly crack on top.
Remove from oven and let them cool before removing.
