⅓ cup shortening or margarine
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
½ cup peanut butter
1 egg – slightly beaten
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
sugar for coating
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add egg and then the dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press flat with fork. Bake at 350ºF for about 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
