3 eggs
cup milk
1 T. sugar
tsp. vanilla
⅛ tsp. salt
8 slices firm-textured sandwich bread, Texas toast or -inch-thick slices French bread

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt and whisk until well mixed. Pour into a shallow bowl. Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat. Dip bread into egg mixture. Place on griddle. Cook about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
