Overnight Apple French Toast Recipe

3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c butter
2 tbs light corn syrup
2 large tart apples, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
3 eggs
1 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
9 slices day old bread

In small saucepan, cook brown sugar, butter and syrup until thick about 5 minutes.

Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Arrange apples on top of this mixture. In bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla.

Dip bread into egg mixture and soak well before placing over apples. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 for 35 minutes.

Makes it's own syrup.
