6-8 Sliced apples (depending on size)
1/2 c sugar
cinnamon

1/2 c oatmeal
1/2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/4 tsp baking power
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1/3 c butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Grease pie plate. Slice apples, add 1/2 c sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 10 min in 350 degree oven

2. Mix together dry goods (oatmeal, flour, 1/2 c sugar, soda, baking powder, salt, Cut in butter until crumbly. Press on top of apples.

3. Bake approx 15 minutes longer.

Serve with whipped cream.

Shari and Katie's Grandma Joyce always had a lot of apples. This is a favorite recipe that is quick and easy. And of course, it needs to be served with a generous topping of whipped cream - right, Katie!
