2- 16oz can old el paso refried beans
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 envelope La Tiara Taco Seasoning
1½ cup old el paso salsa or picante
1½ cup shredded lettuce
1 cup chopped tomatoes
8oz (2 cups) shredded colby monterey jack blend cheese, divided
tortilla chips
Toppings: sour cream, jalapeño slices, green chilies, guacamole and black olives

Directions:
Directions:
Combine refried beans and salsa; mix well. Spread in bottom of heat proof serving platter. Brown beef and onions until cooked. Add taco seasoning and simmer on low for 15 min. Spread over beans. Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese over all. Warm in 300º over until cheese melts, about 5-10 min. Top with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle remaining cheese and any other topping ingredients or serve along side. Serve all with tortilla chips
