1 cup chocolate mini chips
1 milk chocolate bar (4 ounces), broken into pieces
2 T shortening
1 pkg. (10 oz.) unsalted pretzels

Directions:
Directions:
Combine mini chips, broken chocolate bar and shortening in top of double boiler; melt completely over warm, not boiling, water. Cool, stirring occasionally, until coating is lukewarm and slightly thickened.

Dip pretzels with a fork into melted chocolate. Gently tap fork on side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Cool on waxed paper-covered cookie sheet until coating is firm or chill 15 minutes.

Coating temperature should be maintained between 94 degrees and 98 degrees while dipping; reheat over warm water, if necessary.
