2 cup rice
4 cups water
1 cup sugar
4 cups milk or cream
1 cup raisins
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Bring rice, salt and water to a boil in medium saucepan with tight fitted cover. Reduce heat to low and cook until water is absorbed and rice is cooked. Stir in sugar and cream or milk. Cook on low, stirring often until thickened. Grandma would always remove a bowl for herself at this point before adding raisins for the rest of us. Spoon into bowl to cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
