Meat layer
1 pound Italian sausage
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp whole basil
1½ tsp salt
1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste

Lasagna noodles

Ricotta layer
2 eggs
3 C fresh ricotta cheese
½ C Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

1 pound mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage and drain fat. Add next 5 ingredients and set aside.

Boil lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain water and set aside.

Mix cheese mixture ingredients and set aside.

In a 9x13 casserole dish, layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella cheese and meat mixture. Repeat.

Bake for 30 minutes in a 375º oven.
